CSS PRESENT AND START TO THE FUTURE…

The center of social services is a budgetary organization, its founder is the Prešov self-governing region. PSK guarantees a controls the activity of the DSS and takes the necessary measures in case of deficiencies. He is connected to the results of management on his budget. Farmers independently according to the approved budget, acquires rights and obligations in their own name and on their own the activity can accept financial and material donations.

The social service center complex consists of four pavilions, three of which serve as accommodation. Part of the complex is a large yard and garden, which provide space for various sports and leisure activities, such as ball games or physical exercises.

In the exterior, there is also a social area intended for sitting, a gazebo for relaxation and several benches. The mini amphitheater is a novelty. There is also a gymnasium equipped with the appropriate equipment, which enables the implementation of regular exercise and rehabilitation activities.

The home of social services and supported housing facility in Hanušovce nad Topľou is a CSS workplace, which is located in its own premises. It is located in a two-story family house at Komenského Street 29. On the ground floor, social services are provided in an outpatient form with a capacity of 11 recipients, on the first floor there is a supported housing facility with a capacity of 4 recipients. The house includes a spacious yard, a gazebo and a garden with fruit trees. The whole building looks very pleasant and creates a feeling of home, which supports the comfort and well-being of the recipients.

We are preparing further innovations and renovations in the near future. We are not revealing specific intentions yet – our new plans are shrouded in a veil of surprise at this moment. We believe that they will meet your expectations and that the positive changes that will gradually increase will please not only the eyes, but also warm the hearts of all visitors.

WE ARE HERE FOR OUR RECIPIENTS

CSS provides citizens with social services designed to solve an unfavorable social situation that arose as a result of a severe disability, adverse health condition or retirement age.

Social service is provided to a natural person who is dependent on the help of another natural person and whose degree of dependence is at least IV, or to a natural person who is blind or practically blind, if his degree of dependence is at least II. The service can be provided in the form of a weekly residential social service or outpatient social service.

CSS provides comprehensive support, which includes help when dependent on the help of another physical person, social counseling, social rehabilitation, nursing care, accommodation and meals. Services include cleaning, washing, ironing and maintenance of linen and clothing, as well as provision of personal equipment. The facility creates conditions for the development of work skills, provides assistance with job placement, implements interest-based activities and supports education. Recipients of social services are also allowed to keep valuables.

CSS IS INTENDED FOR THOSE WHO RELY ON THE HELP OF OTHERS

CSS provides help and support to citizens over the age of 18 who are dependent on the help of other persons due to a disability or adverse health condition. CSS employs a diverse group of recipients with physical, mental, mental or sensory disabilities, often in combination. From the point of view of mobility, we provide services to immobile, hardly mobile and mobile recipients. In the facility, we have receivers with legal capacity and receivers with limited legal capacity. Every person who comes to us is unique, respected and welcomed.

WE CREATE HOME WARMTH AND A FEELING OF SECURITY

The aim of the workers is to develop the personality of their recipients on a daily basis in accordance with their physical and mental capabilities, to provide them with a harmonious home in adequate conditions of everyday life, where their individuality will be respected at the same time, independence and personal dignity. Based on our experience with this work, we have confirmed that each recipient has its pace of progress and the limit of possibilities that are never quite apparent. Only the further development of the receiver will indicate whether it has occurred the right time to acquire new knowledge, skills and habits and to what extent.

Let's not forget that our recipients are not alone. CSS is a HOME for them, where they have a FAMILY. They have us - friends, colleagues, acquaintances and supporters. Let's always be there for each other, because only together can we improve things, so let's step forward with vigor. Together, let's make the world better and more beautiful. The vision of our facility is to create an environment that supports the highest possible degree of self-sufficiency and autonomy of the recipient. We strive to provide professionally correct, safe and high-quality services that also take into account the subjective satisfaction of the recipient. The receiver is our partner and his opinion is important to us.

Our role is to provide professional support, help and care so that recipients can live a dignified, safe, meaningful and fulfilling life.

The strategic vision of the facility for the period 2025-2030 is a modern and safe center of social services that continuously improves the living conditions of the recipients, develops the expertise of the employees, modernizes the premises and provides comprehensive services supporting the activation, self-realization and meaningful life of the recipients. At the same time, the facility focuses on effective financing, interdisciplinary cooperation and gradual revitalization of its internal and external environment.
